Message From The Chairperson
Pauline Lynch
I am a Trade embalmer serving counties Kildare,Meath and Offaly.
After personally witnessing the benefits of modern embalming and what it can bring to a funeral visit, I was inspired to study embalming.
I returned to education as a mature student and spent three years studying with The Death Care Academy which which included time spent in the UK.
After successfully achieving my qualification I became a trade embalmer, taking care of family here in Ireland.
I served as vice-chairperson to the PEAI for two years and am also a member of the European association of embalmers (EAE).
I am looking forward to supporting the continuous growth of the PEAI and its members.
The PEAI endeavours to provide support to its members. We are focused in promoting education and in encouraging members to keep up-to-date with developments in embalming in Ireland and worldwide. The association is affiliated to the European Association of Embalmers (EAE).
Every member is expected to aide with the PEAI Code of Practice which insists on professional conduct and practice for all members. Membership is open to all embalmers who have completed a recognised qualification. You can find more details regarding membership and you may download forms in our website. You may also complete an online contact form for other queries.
Having now firmly established ourselves as the bearers of the highest standards in embalming, we continue to see new opportunities for growth- professionally, personally and business wise. Being professional embalmers, our values are the core to our practice.
The compelling combination of our values as reflected in our Code of Conduct, relationships and commitment to our business place us in a strong position to seize these opportunities for creating further growth and development for ourselves, the company and all those whose lives are touched by the loss of a loved-one.
